We prioritize families who are facing financial hardship and would otherwise be unable to attend these important moments. While we do our best to help as many families as possible, support is provided based on available funds and the details of each request.

What is Matthew’s Mission?
Matthew’s Mission is our family support program, named in honor of Matthew Spencer.
When a family loses a loved one to a missing persons case or homicide, or has a loved one who is missing and hasn't been found, the financial burden of traveling for searches, closure, memorials, or court proceedings can be overwhelming. Through Matthew’s Mission, we help cover travel, lodging, and related costs so families can be present for these important moments when they otherwise couldn’t afford to go.
We also provide support during memorials and court proceedings.
As we grow we will be expanding this program to assist with missing person searches as well.
Who We Help
Matthew’s Mission supports families who have lost a loved one to homicide or a missing persons case or have a loved one who is still missing. We prioritize families who are facing financial hardship and would otherwise be unable to travel for closure, searches, memorials, or court proceedings.
This includes:
Families of homicide victims
Families of missing persons (especially once remains have been located)
Families who need help attending memorials, saying goodbye, or being present during important legal proceedings
Our goal is to remove financial barriers so families can focus on healing and finding closure.
