OUR STORY
We started The Red Flags Rescue Project because we know what it feels like to suffer in silence. We are both survivors of trauma and abuse.
For a long time, we wished there had been someone who truly understood what we were going through — someone who could offer real support, believe us, and help us navigate the systems that often failed survivors.
That’s why we created this nonprofit. We wanted to be the help we wish we had.
Through our efforts working with families of the missing and those lost to homicide we realized needs that were not being met there as well.
We believe that every person deserves to be heard, believed, and supported — especially when they have nowhere else to turn.
This work comes from our own experiences and our deep desire to make sure others don’t have to walk through trauma alone.
